Beginning With Birth provides birth and postpartum doula support for hospital and home births in Bend, as well as Central Oregon.
I will forever be amazed by the changes that occur during the birth process. The power of a father catching his baby for the first time, a small hand reaching up out of the water, and the unforgettable image of a woman stand on the hospital bed as she confidently works with her body to welcome her son. At times, I look back at my own journey and wonder how many different turns this road will take. I welcome all of them. I started this journey when I realized I had unresolved feelings about my daughters birth. With the help of friends and wonderful clients I am happily at peace with my daughters birth. I love the relationship that being a doula offers.
I feel blessed to have the loving support of my family. I appreciate that every family has their own unique experience and I am grateful they have allowed my to serve them.
